hi, vapers, the newest firmware for smok g-priv released. the new firmware fixed the bug for date & time.
1. Prepare
check the version of your g-priv TC mod, the model number shows your current firmware version, compatible with V1.8.
got the factory micro USB cable
OS system requirement, Windows XP/7/8/10 only
download the g-priv firmware upgrade tool from the smoktech website, link:

2.G-PRIV firmware upgrade
1)open the g-priv upgrade tool folder with the application program and bin file, open the tool
2.hold the fire button, connect the g-priv to the PC
3.then click “scan”
4)click “connect” button, if show the message below mean its successfully connected
5) unhold the fire button, click “open”, choose the bin file in the arrow, open it
6)then click the “update” icon
7)updating will take 30s-3mins
if you did other action on your PC, maybe the upgrade tool will show you NO response msg,dont matter, the process will finish soon.
8) after successfully upgrading, the tool will show you the message that upgrade is complete.
Notes:
1.take out the batteries before connect the g-priv mod to your PC.
2.vapers need to hold the fire button before STEP5.
3.upgrading may be taking 3s to 3min, so please be patient.
4.if you do other activities on your PC maybe will get the NO RESPONSE msg, DONT WORRY, the upgrade will be done soon.
