In 2020, we lost many battles related to Vaping, now we lost another. this year, PayPal froze many vape sellers’ PayPal account and the money will be locked in the account up to 6 months (180 days). many vape shops was under the pressure from the bad situation of COVID-19 and now they got another heavy shot from PayPal.
on the morning of someday in May, when you wake up and plan to eat a delicious breakfast, your workmate called you and let us know the PP account was frozen and we could not use PayPal to accept money from any vaper. what’s the fxxk? after we contacted our PayPal manager, she told us because PayPal modified the rules and not supports the vape industry, so that’s why they closed our account and they will close all vape-related accounts soon. we told her we will not use PayPal to accept the vape money in the future and beg them to recover our account, only got the cold answer, ” sorry, we can not”. we also sent many emails to aup@paypal.com and apply the pre-approval to sell the vapes, but never get a reply.
when you search the alternative payment on google, you will find most of them not accept the vape, after we talked with someone and they told us we can use their company’s service, but the system with many many holes. this year is really awful, many people lost a job or even life due to the COVID-19, vape should help them recover, but now, we lost vape too.
the option of the guy Neil Humber from Ecigclick says:
“ I really and mean really hope in the coming months – the vape industry gets together and takes on the anti-vaping lobby and I mean really take them on in the form of some kind of global advocacy group.
Together they represent a global market worth $15.07 BILLION this year alone – and climbing all the time.
Now that is the basis of a powerful lobby group IF – but only IF they/we band together. “
We think so too.
